The 2012 CALPA Conference will be held in San Diego, California, May 16-20.  The theme for 2012 will be: Uncharted Waters: Exploring the New Parks World for a Sustainable Future.  This promises to be one of the most crucial events to help disseminate information on the latest and greatest in plans to help save parks, and innovative ideas being used to accomplish that.  The 2012 conference will feature an extra day which will be spent at Crystal Cove in Orange County, followed by a unique tour and reception at Torrey Pines, on our way back to Old Town San Diego, where the conference is being held.  I guarantee that you won’t want to miss this conference!

Wednesday, May 16
Tours of Old Town & Welcome Reception - 7-9pm

Thursday, May 17
Sessions at Crystal Cove - 8:30am to 3:30pm
Dinner and Reception at Torrey Pines - 4:30 - 7:30 pm

Friday, May 18
Sessions at Old Town San Diego - 7:30am to 4:15pm
Wine and Cheese Reception - 4:30 to 6:00pm
Dinner on your own

Saturday, May 19
Sessions - 7:30am to 1:00pm
Tours - 1:30 to 4:30pm
Banquet - 5:30pm

Sunday, May 20
Coop Stories - 8:00am to 9:00am
Tours - 10:00am
